Your coat of arms will be divided into six sections that use images to portray aspects of your personality. Don’t use words! You may use the template provided in class, but in order to receive an “A,” you must design your own coat of arms.
Your coat of arms must include:
An animal that is symbolic of your personality
A color that is symbolic of your personality
Also create an image for five of the following options:
Family Background/Heritage
Sources of pride in your life or significant accomplishments
Goals or future endeavors
Greatest success of past year
If you had one year to live and were promised success in any endeavor, what would you attempt?
Something about which you will never budge or change your mind
Something you are good at
Something you want to be known for
If you found $40 in the street today, what would you do with it?
Beneath the shield on your coat of arms choose three words that reveal
insight into your personality, character, and priorities. These words don’t have to form a sentence.
Your coat of arms is a collage and should feature at least three separate media (marker, photos, paint, pencil, etc.). A rubric will be provided.
You will scan your coat of arms and publish it on your personal page and hang it in the classroom.
